Our Insights

Caravus had the benefit of working closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer for over 20 years. Building that trusted relationship over time gave Caravus the ability to proactively push company leadership outside of their comfort zone and consider new and different approaches to address their health care needs. Caravus has been in development with this client to offer strategic planning regarding their employer offerings. Some of our recommendations include:

We Made The Complex Simple

Starting with education, the Caravus team developed an Affordable Care Act “big picture analysis” that helped leadership understand the new landscape, and their place in it. Our ongoing strategic planning as benefits consultants has led to in-depth conversations about moving to a self-funded model, compliance recommendations, and using Caravus Connect to administer their plans and benefit communications. And although they’re not ready to sign on to Caravus Connect just yet, we explained how it can help make open enrollment and the ongoing benefits management process more efficient.

We Designed A Solution

The Caravus team continues to discuss the pros of Caravus Connect for spring implementation, and how the self-funded plan would be a great "fit" for this manufacturing firm.
