Stand Alone Employee Assistance Program Boosts Productivity

Professional Modeling Agency with employees located all over the U.S.

The Challenge

The agency’s employees expressed desire for additional mental health resources. To meet the request of their employees, they decided to partner with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that was offered through their current health plan’s products, but it did not truly support their needs.

The Solution

Caravus recommended the group offer a stand alone EAP, separate from the one available through their health plan. This separation of plans made it easier for employees to recognize who to reach out to, should they need mental health support.

The Outcome

The new EAP vendor quickly became a vital resource to the agency’s employees. One month after the implementation of the new program, one of the organization’s young employees passed away. The vendor offered grief counseling and other mental health resources during and after the tragic event.

Additionally, employee productivity improved since the implementation of the new EAP. The agency believes this is directly related to the mental health resources provided to their employees.
